The Garnacha (Grenache) grape has been cultivated in the Northern Spanish Aragon region for centuries. Hanpicked from more than 40 year old, head pruned bush vines in blend with Syrah and Carignan; Flor del Montgó Garnacha is a complex wine that expresses aromas of berry fruits like dark cherry, blackberry, cassis and notes of exotic spices, minerals and toasted oak leaving a lingering chocolaty finish. The deep red and violet tones that this rich fruit has given to the wine, shows the strength of a vine which has managed to survive in such a culturally and historically enriched area of Spain.
